Suddenly, something extraordinary happened! One of those beautiful stars began to fall from the sky! Santa could hardly believe his eyes. As the star tumbled closer to the earth, its brilliant white light slowly changed to a shimmering gold. Then, before Santa could blink, the golden star burst into hundreds of tiny, sparkling golden lights! Santa jumped from his chair and hurried to the kitchen window to get a better look. But as he and Mrs. Claus gazed up into the night sky, he discovered something even more astonishing. Those weren't stars falling from the sky at all!
They were bells!
Hundreds of beautiful golden bells, each adorned with a little red tassel, were gently falling from the heavens onto the snowy ground of the North Pole. And every single bell made a beautiful sound unlike any other. Some rang bright and clear, while others made a soft, gentle jingle. Some had a deep, warm tone, and others tinkled like tiny silver chimes.
